Hi,
I’m new to the board .
I’ve had a couple of lucid dreams, but when I realize that I’m dreaming…I don’t know what to do in my dream, can you suggest anything?
Try flying. It’s a “basic” lucidity activity that many lucid dreamers do.
Man… do anything you want to once you’re lucid. I want to get a regular lucid thing going because while I’m sleeping I 'll be able to hang out on tropical beaches before having to wake up and go work for twelve hours.
Of course there are more things to do than that but literally, your imagination will take you where you want to go. You can do whatever you want; fly, adventure, sex, spritual discovery. Anything.
is it really that hard to think of something?!!?
SEX is the obvious choice…
is it me, or does that smily look perverted?
Jeeze… I think there are things that I would rather do than have sex in my dreams. Not to diss that suggestion (because I also suggested it) but there are these plans that I make for things I want to do. I mean, I can have sex while I’m awake… but I can’t fly or go to Saturn.
One thing I want to do is have a dream that really loses reality. I want to go somewhere unearthly like “heaven” or the world from Tron… something really out there. Maybe even something that loses material references.
Another would be just talking to the dream people around me. I am doing this more often now. In one dream recently I asked a guy, who was sorting silverware, what he represented in my subconscious and he said “I don’t represent anything. I’m just sorting silverware.” You can have some really great conversations that can actually tell you some things about yourself.
I also want to try having a quest or a storyline going. Something with a goal and actual characters… like a story but lucid. Maybe with permanent locations that I can revisit.
Unfortunately, the hormonal fluctuations that occur while sleeping cause me to opt for sex almost always right off the bat. —HAHAHAHA…
Man… I hate that. It may also be because I usually achieve only a low level of lucidity. The one really highly lucid dream I had I didn’t go for sex at all. I actually tried some other things that I am interested in.
sometimes in lds logic isn’t working causing you to do things things mediocre in contrast to what you could be doing. but that happens in low level lds. in high level though logic is very much present and it feels more like real life than a dream. in the higher levels you’ll think of something. but thats not to say just to sit through low level lds. because even in a low level you can increase you’re lucidity.
