So I was having a little nap earlier and I was just thinking about some things then all of a sudden I felt I was being pulled into a dream, it felt like I was on a rollercoaster or something but I was too scared so I pulled myself out of it, what was this?
And also I want to try Lucid dreaming again after taking a year off bacause most of my LD’s I kept getting tormented by a Freddy Krueger type monster so I didn’t continue on with it
Help Please
actually I think it was just me being pulled into a dream probably? but I need help with getting into it again cause most of the time when I was Lucid I kept getting the damn monster!
That rollercoaster thing happens to me all the time. I had just posted about it a few days ago, and a person named Tcc, told me it is normal during wild. You can see the post called ld problems
Thanks but I need help with my other problem
When being confronted with this monster during your LD’s have you tried to defeat it? Have you tried telling it that it is fake and worthless and that it cannot harm you? Try and gain the courage to tell this to the ‘monster’. You could also try morphing the monster into something else more positive and then continue on from there.
If its reoccuring then its probable that something could be worrying you in everyday life or that somehow inside you just doubt the true control you can have in LD’s.
Thats all I can come up with.
Like MissEvil said, you can confront it. You said it was like freddy krueger so watch the first terror on elmstreet movie and say exactly what she says to him in the movie in the end.
It doesn’t need to be anything in your daily life, you could have just come to expect the monster to come.
To put it in dream interpretation terms, the monster Is your fear of the monster returning.
If this happened every LD or the majority, I’d be tempted to say that something is troubling you either in real life or about lucid dreaming it’s self, your subconscious is picking this up and manifesting it as a Freddy character. (That or you watch too much Nightmare on Elm Street)
Confronting it is one thing, or you could also make friends with him and see what happens. Or just change the spot he is stood on into lava, that works too.
