Ph.I.L.D - Phone Induced Lucid Dreaming...

Me and Naio had a brainwave oneday after school whilst we were on the phone. Why not ring each other when we both do W.B.T.B and see if it helps us Lucid Dream. We tried it for about 3 days and found our vividness in dreams was highly increased and we even got a couple of lucids! :woo:
But now exams are in 1 week so we’ve put lding on hold so we thought wed type this up for all you lders to see if you get any results. The general thing is to find someone who lds that is willing to talk to you at 4 in the morning.

Heres a step by step guide:
Step 1:
The first step is to find someone you can do this technique with. Preferably a friend who is also into lucid dreaming. You are going to be calling them or they are going to be calling you at around 4 in the morning. Make sure you plan this with them.

Step 2:
Go to sleep as usual with your alarm set for 6 hours after you have gone to sleep. Drink/eat some lucid food, or do anything else that will help prepare yourself for some lds

Step 3:

Get out of bed and wait for your friend to call or call them. This helps get you out of a groggy state.

Step 4:
Once your friend has called (or you have called them) start talking about lucid dreaming. Talk about what you want to do in a lucid dream, what techs you plan to use etc. Also share dreams you remember from that night and if you keep a DJ, write in it. Do RCs every 1 minute together and ask eachother if you are dreaming. You can also do some autosuggestion together like saying: “I will Lucid Dream tonight” over and over in unison.
Step 5:
You can talk for as long as you want but around 20 minutes seems to work well. After you have finished talking, go back to bed and do the technique that suits you. Make sure you are fully relaxed and lucid dreaming is all you can think about. If you dont feel completly focused on lucid dreaming, read some stuff on it before sleeping.

Step 6:
Ring your friend in the morning and discuss what happened after you talked in the night. Or if you see them at school or work you can talk about it then.

Pros:
-This tech gets you focused on lucid dreaming especially since your talking to someone about it.
-The conversations that happen at 4 in the morning are very hilarious when you remember them during the day!
-You have someone to remind you to do RCs during the time.

Cons: -Finding someone to do this with

  • If you live at home, not waking up the whole house
    -Forgetting to get up, set your alarm etc.

Hints:-If you are a regular W.B.T.Ber wake up to a different sounding alarm eitherwise you might sleep through it (As Naio has done… :grrr: )

  • If you live with other people turn the ringer off your phone if your friends calling you and plan an exact time they will ring.

Thats a good idea. I acually might use it, but a good suggestion is instead of talking to a friend, you can just go on the chat room.

So how good are your chances when you use this technique, does it work all the time?

Yeah going on the chatroom would work too but typing wouldnt be as personal and talking seems to focus your brain more
Im not sure of the chances but it worked twice out of the three times we did it. And we both got lds :woo:
