Problems with LaBerge's "daily targets" training

You know, that thing he mentions in his book EWLD - I have tried this for a few days at a time, but I keep forgetting several of the targets.
It is obviously a very good way to practice your memory skills, but it seems kind of overwhelming to be looking for all of them at the same time throughout the day.
How long does it usually take to become really good at this, to the point that MILD will be reliable?

To be perfectly honest I’ve never read LaBerge’s books. I’m assuming it has to do with repetition of memory, general awareness and dream signs. The more you do things like this the easier they get. It’s all about getting to the point where it’s habit so it will transfer into your dreams.

From what I remember from reading it 3 years ago, it deals with mostly recall, awareness, and the ability to stay focused. I should dig it out and have a look through it again sometime.
Anyway, I wouldn’t suggest looking for ALL the targets, as you said it’s a bit overwhelming (and I remember thinking the same thing when I read it). Just do what suits you as you could lose motivation if it becomes to frustrating. Everyone is different, I’m sure LaBerge will understand :cool_raz:

Don’t worry, it’s normal to forget. It’s like anything else, it needs certain amount of practice and in no time you will be successful!

Like you said, it’s a good way to train yourself and once when you see it that way and when you accept it, then it’s much more efficient…

Good luck! :content:

Thanks a lot, guys.
Well, it seems like I’m making some progress, because today I threw something in a trash can on one occasion and without even thinking about it I was like “Hey, what the heck did I just do?! I threw something in the trash can! Time to do a Reality Check!”.
