Q: How do I not waste nights when really tired?

Eeek, sorry about the subject but it was really hard to put this into a few words.

I’m new here btw! waves

What I would like to know is what I should do when I go to bed at night and I’m really tired? I understand that WILD requires you to be at least somewhat awake when you try it and MILD works best when you’ve just woken up. But what if I’m really exhausted and just going to bed?

What should I do aside from saying my affirmations?

I tried WBTB too but I find it really hard to fall asleep again after I’ve woken up.

I’ve had three LD’s already and I want more! I don’t want to waste a single night!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It’s always great to see a new member on the forums. :welcome: Anyway, if you are too exhausted to try the boring MILD, and WILD isn’t your thing, there are a few other methods you might find useful. I don’t exactly have much experience with these in particular, but you never know.

HILDS: There are numerous free hypnosis audio files that are all over the internet that claim to induce LDs, so if you have an MP3 player you might as well put it on and give it a go. (If you pick up on any subliminal messages telling you to kill someone, I suggest you find another MP3.)

VILDS: Though you may be too tired to repeat mantras before going to sleep, if you are good at visualization, try visualizing a situation in which you become lucid, and cross your dream-fingers that it will be the last thought that crosses your mind before you hit REM.

The NovaDreamer/ Nate True’s Lucid Dream Mask: These particular dream-masks have been said to help many people become lucid by using repetitive sequences of flashing lights and waking you right after REM periods. If you have the money, this is an alternative that is pretty plausible.

I wish you luck, fellow renegade LDer. Godspeed.

Thank you!

I’ve actually tried Hemi- Sync stuff and hypnosis type mp3’s already but they haven’t worked at all. I wonder if that’s cause I’m not a native English speaker? I think my subconscious knows English though since I dream in English every now and then. Who knows!

I’ll try and find out more about VILD, even though it sounds a lot like MILD?

LOL I’ll be careful!

Thanks again!
