Random Lucid Dream

I finally had a real lucid dream, i think. Keep in mind i wasnt even thinking about having one when i went to sleep heres the story:

So i went to bed normally last night, nothing special. I must have had a false awakening, because i remember my dream started off in my room. I remember getting out of bed it was dark and my lights were out. I got up and was like this seems weird i did the nose reality check and guess what, i was breathin! I didnt feel very excited for some reason cause i knew it wasnt normal. So im like what does everyone do in lucid dreams… fly! So i attempted to fly through my ceiling to the world. Of couse it didnt work. I kept checking reality and i think i got more lucid and when i opened my eyes i wasnt in my bedroom anymore. (I really should’ve wrote some kind of notes cause im not sure where i was after this, but i had to go to school) I dont know where i was or what i did but i know it lasted a bit after that too. I’m not sure how it ended but i woke up, and i dont think i remembered until i was in 3* L.Arts.

So it was really amazing, im not sure what i should do tonight, but i want more. I feel more motivated now so, any suggestions on why this happened or what should i try. I never really had much sucess with MILD, but once i felt vibrations and saw HI but it never happened again. Should i keep trying MILD w/ WBTB? I was thinking about trying Hypnosis but i dont know if its gonna work or if i have the attention span. Thanks for listening to my first lucid experience.

By the sounds of things you had a spontaneous DILD there. There doesn’t always seem to be a pattern with what causes them, but it’s quite likely that it is caused by an increase in the amount of time you have spent thinking about lucid dreaming during waking life. MILD + WBTB is a good combo to try, I can’t see an immediate reason to change. With hypnosis it’s up to you if you try it, I don’t think there is another way of finding if something works for you though. :wink: Good luck getting lucid again. :grin:

well i tried the FILD technique i didnt have any sucess, any tips for that, i kept wiggling them and i would check, then sleep i minute or two and try again. Any help would be appriecated this seems like an easy technique, should i try WBTB and MILD ?

ok so i tried MILD and as soon as i stopped repeating my mantra i started to really relax and i felt vibrations, after a minute i started to see a green light, and the light formed and expanded and shrunk. I watched it turn from green to red and change shape for a minute or two. before i knew it my eyes were half open and it wasnt HI it was my TV. I thought maybe its a false awakening and did like RC after RC… soo i tried repeating again and i eventually went to sleep, with no results. I set my Alarm for 4 hours after i fell asleep and tried once again with no results… whats up with feeling vibrations, then having the feeling that my eyes are just slowly opening?? why do my eyes do that… should i be trying to WILD with this much happening during my MILD? help is appreciated, thanks…
