Randomly triggered LD^s? My experiences

Hello everyone,
as you may see, this is my first post in this forum and i wanted to share my experience of Luciddreaming BEFORE i heard about it.

I had been having dreams which i could recognize as dreams around an age of 13-14. I didn^t know that i could control the dream, so everything i did in those dreams was saying i was dreaming, and everything i could do was waking up. It took me about 1-2 minutes after wanting to wake up to actually wake up. My body was frozen at first and the eyes opened very slowly and felt like jammed.
I did this quite a few times, till those events suddenly stopped.
Those dreams however, even though i was knowing they were dreams, weren^t as realistic/sharp/bright/clear (I cant find the words for it) as one i had much later. They felt like normal dreams.
I was 16 and had holidays. I went to bed very early and i was very relaxed, not drunk, eaten good. I did nothing special and there were no abnormalities. Suddenly i dreamt of what i believe is an Luciddream. It was a dream so clear and realistic that i believed it was reality. Well, you think this about every dream, but this time i knew it was a dream and i knew i could control it. And then a menu, like in video games, appeared. I could choose a scenerio. First i saw a porn, damn, this one really felt real. Then i was a character which i could control. Kinda like bomberman (yes, i played a lot of video games).
Unfortunately the dream was over after 5 to 10 minutes i guess, and every try recontructing the situation before the dream on the other day failed.
At an age of 17, again in the holidays, after some whiskeys and beer, but not too drunk, again such a realistic dream. It was much later this time, in the middle of the night. The first dream appeared just after falling asleep. This one however involved me into a party, lots of girls, but i didnt do anything nasty. I knew i was dreaming while dreaming because i said it to a fellow. But when i said it the dream wasnt as clear as a little time after it. In The same night, after the LD, i experienced a sleeping paralysis. Nothing new for me, even though VERY uncomfortable, because im getting anxious, try to move but cant.
I had A LOT of this sleeping paralysises. I didnt know what actually it was and was afraid that something wasnt right with me. So i was very scared everytime it happened and no LDs appeared (as i know now, the paralysis can be used as the starting point of a LD). I can remember halluzinations vaguely.

I^m really fascinated by this topic and want to learn more about it. I hope you liked my story and hope that you can tell me more about what i actually experienced. Like, i dont exactly know if the dreams of which i knew they were dreams but which felt totally different from the described two above were LD^s or just pre-LD.

It is an nice story indeed. I enjoyed it. It is fun to see you had SP and LD’s when you didn’t know of all this. You hear that sometimes, but you have it quite vividly!
It remembers me of a friend who had tons of LD’s. But he couldn’t control them withouth making the lucid nightmares worse. You’re lucky you mainly had fun with them. :content:

How is it going with LD-ing now?

I^m learing to remember my dreams and to recognize them. When waking up i remind myself of what happened in those dreams, what the setting was, the persons and so on. But I^m to tired/lazy to write them to a diary, which i dont feel comfortable with anyway, because i never wrote a diary or similiar. Right after remembering my dream i fall asleep again with the words “I know that im dreaming”. Didnt work though.
Ill read more about the different techniques and keep you track of the status.

Allright. :content: I had problems with recording dreams too. But when I experienced the fun of reading dreams back, I didn’t want else anymore.

OK, didnt have time to write yesterday, about my FIRST SUCCESS.
Day 3 after reading about LD: Slept again, woke up, fallen asleep after 15 again with my “i know im dreaming” words.
I had a normal dream however and woke up after some time and INSTANTLY after waking up i noticed: “Hey that was a dream, i could have controlled it”. So with the last picture of the dream in mind and another picture, of a thing that i would have liked to seen in the dream, i had an SD. First i was like burning (with energy or so), then i felt like being lifted up in the air a few centimeters as i saw the bed under me. Body paralyzed. I tried to think about the dream and “pull” me into it. That didnt work. I woke up again.
After this, in the same night, i had a SD again, and today too. So i think i know how to get to this point now (like i did it as described above).
As far as i know this suits to the WILD technique. And the auto-suggestion, which hadnt had any success on me so far, would be MILD.
The SDs arent so frightening anymore when you know that their nothing unusual. So i think the WILD technique is what i should work on.
I would love to know why the heck i couldnt proceed to the LD from SD. I guess there some posts in this forum about this already. Gonna read more about it if i have time.
