Hi LD’ers,
so far I’ve had only little success when trying to achieve
lucidity like wondering “why is this and that so strange” when
dreaming, but nothing else.
I’ve been confident though to achieve it someday, since
I’ve done RC frequently and thoroughly.
By thoroughly I mean that I can really persuade myself
that this “reality” I’m in could be a dream and judge from the outcome of a RC if this is a dream or I’m awake.
Nevertheless, I’m finding it harder and harder tp persuade myself that this could be a dream. I guess because the answer has always
been “no, this is real.”
Should I stick to RC or should I try something else?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks alot fellows.
Before falling asleep, Try autosuggestion “Tonight I will realise I’m dreaming”
Your sub-concious will then help you with your RC’s. (Reminding you to do them) (Giving situations where you really do think ‘wth?’)
It helps to think about dreams that were very much like real life. Those dreams without so many obvious dream signs. Those in wich you have a strong sense of being there and everything is vivid. Especially those where you have wondered if you were dreaming but did not become lucid. Because they are so much like when you are doing reality checks IRL.
It is not imperitive to be so persuaded that you don’t really know if you’re dreaming or not. It’s ok to already know you are awake. As long as you are pay close attention.
