I don’t know, it might be a local thing, but there has been this “fad” dream that they call cloud 9. It was supposed to unfold like this: You’re skipping merrily along from cloud to cloud and when you get to the 9th cloud, some creature/demon/satan (there have been variations) comes and scratches your eyes. When you wake up, supposedly you cant open your eyes for a bit.
I know it soulds just like a rediculous Urban Legend, I just wanted to know if anyone else has heard of or experienced it.
I thought being on cloud 9 was usually referred to as being a good thing and being in a happy mood?? hmm…
hahaha, I know, thats the funny part about it, Cloud nine was also a game kids around here were playing so much that the school sent home warnings to the parents about it, I guess you count to nine with your eyes closed and some other kid strangles you until you pass out…yeah, my neighborhood is screwed up. The dream started a few years before the game, but both of them are kind of funny.
And apparently its a local thing…whatever.

I’ve always heard cloud nine was when you made yourself out of breath and then breathe really fast and have someone push really hard on your chest and then you black out. People always did that stuff at sleep overs and what not, thats what a cloud nine always meant for me.
I always heard that cloud nine was a joke… when people die of stupid things (like being carless such as licking a toaster…)
they go to cloud 9. or maybe it was cloud 13?
