Robert Moss

Hey everyone,

Recently I started reading Dreamgates by Robert Moss. Great little book on Shamanic dreaming. I am thinking about possibly training with him. I was wondering if anyone here had already done work with him and had input.

I know that nick (explora) has followed some workshops with Robert Moss.

Easy now… Not all at once. There are only so many posts I can read at one time

I haven’t heard of him, but Shamanic Dreaming sounds very interesting.

I can imagine it is all lucid dreaming?

Robert Moss has written many excellent books about dreaming. His focus is not limited to lucid dreams (he prefers term conscious dreams). Instead he teaches a variety of techniques and approaches to dreams under the general heading “active dreaming”.

Last summer I did a 5 day workshop led by Robert on dream ways of the ancients.

Some of the things we explored were dream re-entry, dream tracking, group journeying, lightning dream technique, and dream theatre.

I very much enjoyed the experience and Moss’ books. In addition to his non-fiction, he wrote two very good novels about American settlers interacting with Native Americans and dreaming.

Moss takes a very spiritual and shamanic approach to dreams. Check out his web site at mossdreams.com.

Also he’s started offering some online courses. I am taking one now and it’s a pretty good deal for $20.
