i had a dream last night where i was sitting at a table with like 6 DCs, everything was in black and white, and the DC’s were having a conversation, i wasnt saying anything, and then i kind of realized i was dreaming, and said “hey! everybody! were all in a dream right now, isnt that awsome!?” they all stoppped talking and turned to me, one of them got up and stood right next to me and said “what the f*ck did you just say!” he pulled out a knife and put it on my neck 
“dont EVER do that again!” he said and i woke up…kinda sketchy, im not gonna stop LDing though
Oh I believe that was a scary situation…I had a similar one in a LD.
I got lucid in a big mall. DC´s running around and there was a loud noise of people speaking to each other. Then I shouted out loud: “Hey people this is a dream!” All the DC´s turned around and coming towards me. There were maybe 20 DC´s around me, screaming and pushing me. First I got really scared because they all got these mad faces! But then I only said: “Stop that!” They stopped and looked at me angry.
“Okay, okay when you stop pushing me I got a big surprise for you!” I had no idea which big surprise I could have for them but in the same moment Nico Suave ( a german rapper ) came around the corner and sang “Hit the road Jack” from Ray Charles. All the DC´s were dancing and sing the song together. It was a big party now! 
My DC´s often react angry or sad when I tell them it´s a dream. Don´t be scared of DC´s they can do you no harm…and don´t stop trying to get a LD!
Wow, I haven’t been attacked by DCs in a LD. I bet you were surprised. If they won’t stop reacting like that you should just stop telling them it’s a dream. You don’t really gain anything from doing that anyway. Well. You might wan’t to BE ABLE to tell them without being attacked, but, if it’s really hopeless, it’s no big loss right?
I think you´re right that I gain nothing from that but it´s always a good way to remember that I`m dreaming for me. But I have to say it was the first time that DC´s screaming and pushing me.
Next time I´m dreaming I will only whisper “this is a dream”
( I think my LD has had a happy ending with this little concert in the end )

Eldwinn, since you have only tried it once, it could be just a one time thing. It’s always nicer not to be limited so maybe you should try it again and see how they react.
The only reason I suggested not doing it again is if it interferes with your good time in the dream. I know I have told DCs it’s a dream and they have several times reacted like I isult them or something. Perhaps it’s an association with them being a “sort of people” that is “not real” and therefore “inferior”. That sort of association is like racism. Maybe the dream is trying to tell me to treat people with respect and even DCs count. To mention the dream is like mentioning that someone is black, like it actually matters, seems pretty unnecessary if you think about it like that.
yeayh i guess its a god idea to do it again, but if they do it again, im gonna lay off it for a while lol
Could it be that the DC are all in your head about them being evil? Like if you read the forum so much about them your mind turns them against you, or do they really have a mind of thier own. I hadn’t really had the opportunity to talk to DCs but was always just wondering. I know after reading the forums forever I would expect them to turn against me from what I hear. Maybe my first experience would turn out the same way too.
I like to see the look on the others faces if you ripped his head off
Here’s what I suggest: If that ever happens again, grab the hand that he has the knife in, then point it toward him. After that, confuse him by looking over his shoulder as though there is someone behind him that’s going to help you out. He’ll look back, then ram the knife into his stomach. It’s foolproof. Know why? Because I learned it off Casino Royale!
it’s possible that your sub-c don’t like you think it’s a fake.
Mostly I prefer to hide that I know it’s a dream, but there are times I can chat about this being a dream (happened today, a DC was betting that I couldn’t LD again in the same night but I won).
Next time you try to tell DCs expect good rections from them, this should help.
i know it was all in my head, but it was a pretty bad experience for some reason, i know it was all fake and everything, but the whole thing creeped me out and i didnt like it 
I think babyshadow meant that after reading about DCs being evil you expect them to be. And that’s why they were.
The racism type thing is a good idea. because they, even though they are basicaly a program created by your brain, think and behave like real people and real people dont like their existence to be questioned (especialy if your right or have a good arguement).
I had an LD last night and in the dream I remembered this thread so I decided to try it out. I shouted “Hey! this is a dream!” or something like that but noone but one lady even cared. She looked at me like I was crazy. You can read the rest of the dream in my DJ 
I’m just wondering, has anyone ever told a DC “This is a dream!” and got something along the line of a convinced “Yeah, sure. I knew that.” as a reply? I ask this because I used to tell DCs that we are in a dream, and most of the time they seemed confused or even denied it (but they never turned aggressive). 
I don’t usually do it anymore since it seems a waste of time. There are other fun things to do with DCs, after all. For me it seems to work best if I play along with their role in the dream.
i dont think you can get the same answer out of a DC twice…
