I have only had 3 lucid dreams so far and i didnt think of anything scary in them. i dont even remember how i controlled them but im just wondering if you think of something scary and you cant clear your mind from it, will your ld turn scary?
It’s a possibility. The only LD I’ve had was actually quite scary. The DC had no faces at all, just white, stretched skin… although I wasn’t thinking anything scary or anything, but I think if you are thinking scary things it’s pretty likely that they will manifest in the dream.
In LD’s I am confident I can control anything…It’s normal dreams I have issues with…One dream stalked me as I child and another killed off my dad…I was so upset…this one ‘weird’ dream…gave me the shakes and I used to cry out… used to scare me so much and I couldn’t wake myself up from it…(check out my DJ!! grins)
Sometimes, depending on whether you accidentally convince yourself that it’s going to happen or not. It essentially works like the rest of lucid dreaming, with added control
Well, I haven’t really had any scary LDs, but I’ve only had like, one or two anyway.
But if you’re in control you can stop it, unlike a regular dream, so I don’t know if you can really have a nightmare if you’re lucid.
But, I know nothing.
I’ve never had a scary LD but I have some dreams that would be ‘scary’ if i were to be lucid but they don’t bother me if they are NDs.
