Search for my Dream Guide

I am becoming incredibly apt at LDing lately, in my last LD I was able to accomplish around 4-5 of my goals I had set for my self. I only woke up after i had run out of ideas. I want to meet a dream guide to learn more and to give myself direction. Any experiences or ideas?
Thanks-Zoebear

I was actually trying the same thing on my last LD. I was in the kitchen and just said “show me my dream guide” out loud several times, then I convinced myself she was in the corridor so I went to the corridor but it was dark, however I could see her silhouette against my room, I ran toward her but as I was almost there I woke up, didn’t really see her.

I tried it once, and the only thing i’ve seen was a mirror…
Maybe i’ll try it again later…

Add me to the need guidance list. As of last night I have been attempting LDs for just four nights and as of last night my journal has three night entries. However I am stunned at how quickly progress is happening. Two nights ago I had my first RC confirm I was dreaming and then woke up. And last night I confirmed I was dreaming and started attempting things like flying.
I now have so many questions it’s getting ridiculous.

Anyway what you mean by a dream guid? Is this a real person or one of your characters?

Dryalantha- What you said about the mirror! Amazing! I went through my living room mirror today when I fell asleep during meditation. Before I went through the mirror I said to myself "okay lets not waste time and try to find my dream guide so then I pushed through the mirror and then asked “Where is my dream guide?” I ended up in the exact same room in front of the exact same mirror and then saw an angry looking reflection of myself. I think it has to do with my inability to let go of my fears that some how I am doing something religiously wrong by asking for my guide. ( I go to a very strict small town baptist church) for some reason mirrors still scare me- I need to work on harnessing my fear of what I will see, before I will see anything helpful.

Or maybe our dream guides are parts of ourselves and that is what the dreams try to tell us with those mirrors? I don’t know much about (dream) guides anyways…

I know what you mean, I have the same problem. I tried to work on it, but now I have a lucid dry spell and blurry dark dreams… Though, my fear is not because of my religion (i’m pagan) but because i had some really bad lucid dreams before i couldn’t control.
I don’t think you do anything wrong with meditations and lucid dreaming - the church doesn’t talk about those things - or at least not in this country. I know people who are very religious AND spiritual at the same time… it’s not the same and you may do/believe/handle like both, cuz religions don’t judge people the way they think/handle about/with dreams. Not that lucid dreaming would be spiritual (for some it is, for some not at all), but I guess you know what I mean.
