Searching for a general book about dreaming

Hello folks,

I don’t have a clue wheter I’m right here. But I hope someone could help me with the following:

I’m searching for a good book about dreaming. It should be my first introduction into the purpose of dreaming, what they mean and where dreams come from!

I understeand there’s a lot of difference between books regarding this subject! Can anyone recommend a specific book? (it would be completely perfect when it’s internationally available and possibly translated in dutch!)

just go to www.amazon.com and search ‘dreaming’ in the books. i just typed it in and found 3 books that look like they would be perfect.

I think the book i just saw by Allan hobson would be good. It is called Dreaming and the science of sleep. (i think that was the name of the author)

I highly recommend ‘The Lucid Dreamer’ by Malcom Godwin.

This book covers off dreaming in a scientific, spiritual and historical way, and is very well rounded. It’s a great informative read… and has lots of nice pictures too! :happy:

I would get Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Steven Laberge, that book really helped me in the beginning.
