I was wondering… is it possible to forget certain things while your in a LD? Remembering them when you wake up, of course.
I was thinking if you were to relive an adventure from a movie or book (I was thinking about Lost 
) that would be great, of course. But it would be cooler, I think, if you could forget everything that happens in the story and your SC could recreate it for you. This way you could live the adventure without knowing what is going to happen next… and still go through the same story! It would be awesome to be a part of the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter without knowing how it ends!
Any thoughts?

The one problem I can think of is that, if you really wanted to live the role, you’d have to forget that you’re dreaming, wouldn’t you? And if you do that, couldn’t everything spiral out of control?
However, after reading your post, it occurs to me that if you wrote out the whole thing beforehand, it could be fine… right?

Well I thought you could play an existing role or play yourself, together with all the characters… I guess the story would have to be adapted a bit… hm…
but maybe if you played an existing character you could still know you were dreaming but know you were acting. I don’t know

Actually, Ive been doing that for a long time. What I do is when Im awake, I create the story line in my head, and imagine every detail, down to the very last pebble on the ground. Then everything that I imagined for the story, I put it in an imaginary storybook and put it in my imaginary library. When Im lucid, I will myself to teleport into my library, then I open the storybook, put my head in it, then I lose lucidity and fall into the story. It only works if you imagine it very well and you really have to expect it to happen. Hope that helped
I guessed you would have to lose lucidity for that (after setting your intention), and now rubicks confirms this. I guess it’s the way it is.
Anyway, a much more fun thing to do is start with a setting, then create your own story on the spot! Be creative, your brain can do so much, and if it can relive a told adventure down to the last detail, it is certainly capable of inventing one himself, plus it will be so much more epic when you wake up and think “Whoa… i thought of all this?”, plus you get to write a book if you want some cash!
