I followed some guide from a site in the Lucid Library section about hypnotizing yourself and then repeating “I am going to have clear, realistic, lucid dreams every night and be able to remember them entirely” over and over while you’re in the “suggestible state” or something like that. I did it two nights ago, early in the evening, then before I went to sleep and then I fell asleep shortly after.
The past 2 nights I’ve had what I can only describe as half lucid dreams. I can remember them very vividly, I remember making certain decisions in the dream (I had partial control) but not control on the level of “this is a lucid dream, I can do whatever I want, I can fly away from this place!”. I was kind of stuck in whatever scene I was in. The only thing that made it different from a RD was that it was more vivid and I remember making certain decisions in the dream. I also remember thinking certain things in the dream and then they would happen. For instance, I found some money on a table and at first it only looked like $20 but then I thought, what if I found more? And more materialized kind of behind it, and then more. Strangley (looking back on it now) a $30 bill was in my hand, but I think I just kind of shrugged it off in the dream.
I’ve had about 3 fully lucid dreams in the past 6 months or so, a few others before that, that was before I really knew about LD’ing though. Like I said, these were more like half lucid, does anyone know about this? If they were really “lucid”? And what I could try doing to make them fully lucid?
I’m going to try doing the self hypnosis again because normally I don’t have dreams this vivid every nite and it definently had something to do with it.
EDIT:
Found the tutorial I used, its a technique called HILD
