Self Hypnosis

As a few of you may know, i struggle heavily over having a sketchy recall :meh:

Well last night i decided to try something i have never tried before and give it a shot, well I entered a very deep relaxation and started talking to myself in this deep relaxation, i spent about 20 seconds basically asking for “A perfect recall” and then just rested there for a while.
When i woke up for WBTB i did not even try to recall, i sat up and 3 dreams just hit me in perfect detail :woo: It was outstanding. I spend 5 minutes thinking over these and fell back asleep to wake again for another 3 new dreams just hit me in perfect recall. That is 2 weeks of no recall to instant perfect recall overnight.
I will be constantly testing this more to achieve a LD as well

So here is what i did in a more detailed manor.

  1. just imagine yourself standing at the top of the flight of stairs, notice in front of you there is a comfortable gel-like bed for you to lay in. You slowly get in, noticing as soon as a part of your body touches the material it immediately starts to relax and lose tension it naturally holds. Going from your head to your toes in full comfort.

  2. Stay in this bed and keep the relaxation comming, keep going deeper and deeper, untill you start to notice how your body starts to feel heavy, then you sit up and get out of the bed.

  3. walk to the top of the steps and say in your mind “each one of the steps i walk down will relax me even further and further” untill you feel it is deep enough going down sets of 10 stairs WARNING: walking down stairs may give a “Floating” feeling

  4. when you have walked down about 2-3 (or sooner if you are experienced) flights of stairs you can just start giving input directly to your SC, “Tonight i am going to have perfect recall and LD” or something like that, and your done
You can stay at this relaxation if you like or just go to sleep whatever works for you

and the more you do this the faster you will be able to relax and go to a deep enough level

Well i didnt get to sleep until about 2:30 AM but i still tried self hypnosis none the less. Well when i woke up for WBTB i remembered me becoming lucid, but nothing more
Try some more, may take a few days to get back on track of my sleep patterns

Another day in, seems that my sleep patterns didnt have as much as a effect as i thought they did, well i guess it will also help with off sleep patterns

So i did this, and woke up at 7 but fell back asleep and when woke up at 7:30 had perfect recall of a 2ish hour dream. No shards of other dreams or anything. Trying to get Lucid with it tonight.

Why no one replies this one?

Anyway, good luck with your HILD technique Nickle, keeps us informed, however, be careful when walking on the stairs… Don’t do the roll while on it.

I’ve tried on creating an accelerated WILD+HILD technique but I still don’t feel like sharing it.

Using self-hypnosis has definitely helped my DR tremendously. I suggest that I will wake-up after each dream and that I will remember my dreams. And … I do!

I use a tape recorder to record my dreams and that also helps as a DJ memory trigger.

Speaking of triggers, I use them in every day life, so I am working to implement them as a post-hypnotic suggestion to become lucid. I’m still working on that!

Well really havent been keeping up on the post, but have been focused on it.

When i was satisfied with 1 dream a night i figured i would stop the self-hypnosis

BAD IDEA
No self-hypnosis == INSTANT DRY SPELL

Which just goes to show how great this is working for you! That’s great. I’ve had some good results with self-hypnosis too, but I don’t usually have the patience to do the whole thing ._.

I used hypnosis successfully to induce a lucid dream. Could be called a MILD I guess.
Going to try using it for dream recall because my recall is quite bad these days.
