Sick Of Waking

Ok, I have changed my sub-title from “Dreamer Extrodinare” to “Lucid Master”.

The title feels unfitting, however, as I cannot stay asleep. My mind loves to play tricks on me while lucid, as per this one time…

“Hey, subconsious, can I not wake up early this time?”
The answer was “Sure.” I bet you can guess what came next.

I WOKE UP. I woke up about five seconds from then. I can regularly gain lucidity and lucid dreams, but the problem is staying asleep, or just staying lucid.

So I would like a compilation of quick, easy, EFFECTIVE methods for me to use to stay asleep, lucid, and happy with it.

BTW, if this is in the wrong forum, I apologize.

What about spinning, rubbing your hands or touching things? Did you tried these ones in your LD´s to stay longer in them?

And you should stabilize right after you got lucid, calm down and then start your adventures.

Have you tried ignoring it altogether and just trying to do something? Once you get into action in a LD, it’s harder to wake up.

Speaking of rubbing hands, I should try growing an extra pair of arms that are always rubbing hands.

Ha Ha :woo:

That´s a great idea! I definitly gonna try this…

Or maybe you should summon a cassette recorder that´s always saying: “You are dreaming”

You could try psychological things, like making a “lucid anchor watch” appear out of thin air. It has a switch on it that when pressed, will activate the watch and will keep the wearer in the dream. You could also find a food or drink that is supposed to extend your dream time when consumed.

I have found focusing on something helps the most. Try to see a scene that is familiar like your room or something like that. Hold on to and just try and keep it focused and clear.

That and after Lding for some time you can actually feel waking coming on. Then you can try and fight this feeling.

he thing is there are tons of ways you just gotta try try and try again.

I have the same problem but I have come up with a solution: Don’t ask your subconscious, ORDER IT! You are in complete control of your SC, waking up is just what you think will happen, so it does happen. I guarantee you that the next time you have a lucid dream, that won’t happen, and as long as you believe that too, it won’t. Don’t have even a shadow of a doubt.

Whenever i rub my hands, nothing happens…
