SILD?

Alright, so I want to try SILD (Sound Induced Lucid Dream) since I think this would work well with me, but what would I use? I have alarm clocks that beep but they don’t shut off unless I get up and turn it off and after about 5 seconds of hearing it I’ll wake up and have to turn it off.

I don’t think “SILD” is an accepted acronym. Can you explain what you mean by it?

Sound Induced Lucid Dream.

lol.

Similar to the dreamNova, then?

I would advice you to put your alarm clock under your pillow or so. Most of it hangs about “programming” yourself to become lucid when you hear the sound.

But what if I wake up from it? I don’t think I will in the first 5-10 seconds of hearing it but after that I’ll wake up because it’ll annoy me or something. It doesn’t stop beeping unless you shut it off.

SILD is also Sigil Induced Lucid Dream oO

Then you should buy a new alarm clock, or make sure it has some sort of a device to shut it.

I’m broke. =P Shame, though.

If you have a computer in your room, you can set it to sound some voice, possibly “You are dreaming” as an alarm clock.

I’ve got an old Windows 98 computer down there. No internet for it. Does it have an alarm clock on it?

SILD can also mean Supplement Induced Lucid Dream.

Nik J92, if u got an audio editing program in ur computer then u can transfer an mp3 sound file which u will use as an alarm, but for this u need a cellphone that allowes u to play mp3 files, if u got the cellphone then u could edit the mp3 alarm music so it only plays like 5 seconds and after that u can make the rest of the “song” empty, just record something that doesnt sound then copy and paste it so its long enough, then the alarm clock on ur cellphone will only beep the time u set it to be, one thing thats bad about this is that if u dont pick the cellphone up and shut the alarm it will beep again but after 10 minutes (my cellphone at least), well thats my tip to u, good luck m8
