sleep paralysis

i have had about 5 ocaasions of sleep paralysis over the past month, the recent one being last night, i wanted to know if anyone had any idea of how to stop this cause i find it very unconfortable and scary, the paralysis only last for a minute or two then i get full control back, i keep fearing that one of these times the paralysis shall last for more than 1 hour

anyway is it normal to experience as many sleep paralysis occasion in a month and should i see a doctor

I’m sure it’s pretty normal to have SP. It’s not as though you’re having it so often, e.g. everyday.

Anyway, for me, I only experienced my first SP when I awoke from a dream to fast. I had became lucid for one of my first times, and the dream was fading, and I struggled to keep it going but failed.

So I suggest to slowly wake up? Or smthin like that.

Personally, I did enjoy my SP.

Is this paralysis caused by attempted WILD? Does it take place before, after, or completely seperately from LDing?

If when attempting WILD, don’t get distracted by it. Its a natural occurance, and happens to many people trying out WILD. Just ignore it and persevere!

If it is happening post-dream, again, don’t get scared, just let it go naturally, because it will.

If its happening when you arent attempting LD, refrain from sleeping on your back, because you are more likely to have HI’s and SP in this position.

I can’t really tell you what to do, because its a natural problem with some people. Just stay as cool as a cumcumber.

i havent tried any lucid dreams in about 3 months, i bought the lucid video on ebay but it didnt work for me, the sleep paralysis always occurs when i have bad dreams for example i dreamt that a few yobs were breaking into my sisters car, that made me nervous and scared , i tried to reach the telephone but i couldnt feel any movement in my body thats when i realise i am dreaming ,
