(Ok, I know the title’s iffy. But substitutes let you sleep, so this morning I took advantage of that!)
Has anyone else noticed this?
It always seems like I’m aware of my dreams most when I’m falling asleep in class 1st period. It might be because I’m so tired in the morning. (By no stretch of the imagination am I a morning person) Could this be that I’m tired enough to sleep at a moment’s notice?
It doesn’t feel like WILD, but I can clearly feel when I’m dreaming or when I’m awake. I would experiment more, but you know, it’s sleeping in class. Usually when we have book work to do, I can only sleep for seconds at a time, or else my head hits the desk and the teacher notices.
Sorry for any vagueness. I only just noticed this today and haven’t had the chance to match this up with any known techniques. My first instinct was WILD, but it’s more like being in between the dream state and full consciousness. History-Induced-LD?
I think this happens, because we have our mind on hoping to have a Lucid dream before we fall asleep and your tired, so that you immediately fall asleep the second you were thinking about it, and the two came together and you had a Lucid dream. Also, when you go to sleep, wake up and go to sleep, you can have Lucid dreams. It’s basically all the above, and also when your asleep and the teacher is talking loud enough that your not fully asleep, then you can recognize that your dreaming. I’ve had that happen to me before. But I woke up too soon to do anything.
lmao yea I allways sleep durring 5th period and even though I always had trouble remembering my dreams I seem to have atleast a vague idea. lol sleep inertia always screws me up though when she asks us to read aloud.
Yeah, that’s the kind of feeling I get usually. It seems like a dream, but if it means starting a whole new sleep cycle, why does it go straight to the dream stage?
This is really wierd cause this happens to me all the time. I know that im asleep but i still play along with the dream. Its like a very wierd reality, almost as if 2 lives. Like if i touch something hot or i fall in a dream i still jump in real life, but the whole time i knew i was sleeping in class. Good call because this happens to me all the time.
heheheh, once, i was sleeping in English class, and in my lil “reality” i was punched in the face, and i spazzed right out. the girl behind me started laughing, so i started laughing… it was quite awkward.
