I live by the great lakes so huge winter storms (acompanied by snow days) are common for me
However this year there was very little bad weather (ironic how the mid-west got huge ice storms) in my area. So we didn’t get our first snowday until 1/32/08 and it was on account of winds, not snow. Anyways when I got to school the next day I overheard at least 5 people talking about there dreams. I even overheard someone talking how they overheard someone else having a very strange dream. Normally I don’t hear anybody talking about there dreams, so what happened???
By the way I myself had a dream I remembered VERY clearly and was pretty strange
In my case, I usually have to get up to see if school is cancelled from reports on the TV, computer, or radio.
They could’ve gotten up, checked, and then have gone straight back to sleep (or in the case of the thunderstorm, waken up by thunder?)… sort of like WBTB. They enter REM more easily (if I’m not mistaking) and experience more vivid dreams.
I think that happened the day after my school’s first snow day too. My best friend usually never has dreams, but that day she told me she had an awesome dream.
we woke up, saw that our school was closed puh: little kids, the grade schools were still open) then went through our days. Then we wen’t to sleep just like on a regular day, however I am talking about when we went to school the next day people were talking of dreams they had that night
my first LD was on a snow day.
Snow days would logically force WBTB, due to everybody waking up, checking the news, and going back to sleep.
makes sense.
I want more snow days!
Okay, so I know it’s almost April, but in my fair city, the weather is not affected by the time of the year. It’s been snowing for an hour. and it’s predicted to keep on going all night.
SNOW DAY!!
at least, I hope so. because snow day WBTBs are the best WBTBs.
(Sigh) Boy do I remember Snow Days. I live in Southern Ontario and we’re surrounded by the Great Lakes, so I know what you mean Chuckiferd about the huge Winter Storms.
It sucks when you get older and you have to go to work regardless of how bad the weather is. Unfortunately, I don’t remember any weird dreams during my Snow Days. It’s probably because during those days I still had to get up early and help dig out the car.
