Hey, this may sound like a stupid question, but I was wondering if you guys report having SP experinces with your eyes open or closed. I always remember having SP’s with my eyes open and with the ability to acknowledge my surroundings, though one of my friends who SPs often claims he is unable to open his eyes and thinks that all SPing occurs with your eyes closed and I must be hallucinating or something.
WHO IS RIGHT ME, MY FRIEND, OR BOTH? 
Probably both, the experience is different from person to person. However, the eyes are usually the first thing one can move after SP starts to wear off. If you are trying to open your eyes it probably wouldn’t be too hard. I’ve only experienced it once and I was able to move my eyes but not open them.
Ive had 3 SP’s with my eyes open, its very scary. Although, the majority of my SP’s have been with my eyes closed, I still remember those that werent.
