"Someone please, just wack me alongside the head"

Last night, when I went to bed, I had a feeling somehow, that my odds of realizing that I was dreaming were pretty good.

So what happened?

I had a nice dream about being one of a half-dozen researchers in a Lucid-Dreaming Sleep Lab. I remember that the others were all attractive women (as attractive as they could be in white labcoats, anyways – one of them looked just like Patricia Arquette). We were discussing experiments that we could do, how we could increase the number of LDs, etc, etc. And I never clued in at all that I was dreaming – didn’t even think of the possibility!

ARRRRGH!!!

JaRoD gives Bernard a slap for not realising that it was a dream
It’s happened to us all… But it also means that you are close to getting a LD :cool_laugh:

Once in my dream I asked my friend if he ever heard of lucid dreaming, and I was explaining him about LD and stuff… of course, I didn’t realise it was a dream
There are some more dreams that I remember that had lucid dreaming theme, but were not lucid :bored:

However two weeks after that I had my first LD, so I guess it’s a good sign! :content:

Well, I had a couple of LDs last week one very short, one pretty long).

And the night before this “dream lab” dream I had what I would call a “micro” LD (ie. becoming lucid woke me up as I was realising that I was probably dreaming – so it’s conceivably an issue of whether I was actually still asleep by the time I reached the conclusion).

Which is why I found this so &%$#@! agravating. :grrr:

I had a dream once where I counted my fingers, and ended up with four.

Now either I was lucid for a millisecond, or I decided that four fingers=normal.

:mirror:

Four fingers is plenty normal in dreams :gni:

No, 10 fingers is.
