Didn’t see a topic on the new spidey movie. Surely some people on the forums must like it right?
The things i found hilarious yet lame at the same time about the movie (WARNING THIS MAY BE SEEN AS A SPOILER:) was the whole peter parker emo thing, i mean i was laughing hysterically, but come on! And the part how Spidey is running with applause and then ran in front of the American flag. I literally burst out laughing with my mates in the cinema (to many viewers annoyance )
Otherwise, top notch film, the action in spidey 2 was a little better for me though, esp. the webslinging in Spidey 2.
The emo scenes were super funny, i didn’t like peter parker as an emo, but i loved tobey mcguire hamming it up, seriiously it was great
parker! at the disco, lol hahahaha
i don’t know about mj being bitchy (honestly i can’t remember but what i do know, is that peter (even before the emo-ness) was being a real tool, making everything about him "oh yeah mj, i know how you feel, im a big celebrity too ya know. " i think she had legitimate reason to be ticked at peter, even i was sitting there thinking, "peter… please, shutup, and let her vent! she doesn’t want your opinion, she wants you to listen! "
I loved bruce campbell in this as well, (his best cameo), liked stan lee as well. Can’t forget Gwen stacey ( At first i thought they could have cast her better, but after seeing the movie, i thought she was fantastic.

Thanks for teaching me the spoilers code cheers mate
Anyway, I watched the movie yesterday! I loved it! Like you guys said the emo thing was pretty sad. It pissed me off:

Another thing that pissed me off, was when he gets the black stuff on him, and he says ‘it feels good, you have all the power’ and he doesn’t really turn evil - just acts like a fag, and fights with more ferociousness. And what the hells up with him dancing and pointing at every girl?
I knew it! You know why? The Spiderman series, (the actual comics) are REALLY long. There are dozens of villains and his story becomes more interesting. So I can’t wait for the rest of the spiderman movies to come out!
yeah, but tobey mcguire and kirsten dunst haven’t signed contracts for any more movies, and the director sam raimi ( i think thats his name) hasn’t signed a contract so, we might see new actors.
The Slave must admit to have seen this movie. I liked it, for the most part, but everyone here is right: They Cry All The Time. Also, there were people in the Audience who were crying at the same time.
Oh well, the action was good, Venom looked - Venomish, i guess. His part was a tad too small, don’t you think? Oh, but they couldn’t have possibly added another half an hour to it. Damn, these movies are getting way too long.
I really enjoyed this one, even though the storyline frankly sucked. It was hilarious though, with the french Bruce Campbell and Peter dancing down the sidewalk having me laughing pretty hard.
Was it just me, or was it more obvious in this movie that Spiderman’s webs weren’t connecting to anything when he swung around? That was always a joke with the franchise, but it seemed much more noticeable in this one.
In the second one when he swung away from that building sinking he wasn’t hookin on to anything either… There wasn’t any buildings around… stupid movie -.- lol
