How do I keep/take my RL mind into my dream world when I sleep? How do I retain my thoughts on LDing while I sleep?
Example: My real mind thinks about LDing, RCs, and other important subjects.
My dream mind goes around saying, “Yeah, let’s just play along with whatever’s happening right now. I mean, that random laser gun looks pretty cool, pick it up and see what happens.”
I want to be able to keep my RL state of mind in my dreams, if that’s even possible.
sounds to me like you’re just having normal dreams and not lucid dreams, the whole point if lucid dreaming is that you will start to become aware of it, and closer to your RL state of mind. so just keep practicing LDing and all that that entails, and when you actually get to that moment, your RL state of mind will come out more too.
the problem is alot of what has to do with dreaming is subconcious, so practicing Lucid dreaming, and everything that goes along with it, will start to imprint the importance of being lucid in your dreams into your subconcious.
I actually meditate also, like full out meditation… i dont really find that it helps with lucid dreaming… but maybe you have to do it alot, and for a long time for it to realy help, becuase i guess i dont notice my perception rising in everyday moments much either
you should probably just try finding out all the ways to lucid dream and keep trying them all out, like all the time, and keeping a dream diary, and sooner or later if you really want it to happen it will
your body is sensitive, just go with the flow and be patient with yourself… in worst case scenario, nothing changes, that doesnt mean that you cannot enjoy the life you have, so keep giving it a try and do your personal best!

Meditation is a great method to dreaming it’s a personal method I use most if not every time. Just have to get a hang of it, and you’ve gotta really be stubborn against those distractions. Can’t let them get to you!!
well, anyhoo, if you do want to meditate, the best grounding tool is when you breath in, say to yourself (In your head only) In.
when you breaht out, mentally say, out.
that keeps you grounded… as you get better at it, you can just watch your breath.
I have the same problem, so I stick to thinks like DEILD/Chaining/REM surfing (whatever name you are use to) and WILDs (I hate WILDs though but that’s just because I’m not good at them) were you go straight into a LD. I didn’t give up on RCs, I still do them and stuff but I have never gotten an LD by noticing a dreamsign or something weird happening. Keep trying, there was some good advice in some of the above post.
