Does taking breaks from trying to lucid dream help? i have been trying for months and nothings happening so i decided to take a break. Does this help? Or does it bring you behind?
You don’t know how useful these brakes are. Not only in LD’ing but in every domain, including work/school. If you think that it’s simply not working, then either you continue working hard and you will achieve something, or take a brake for 1 - 2 weeks from LD’ing, don’t think about it at all, rest your mind and then when you’re back on track you’ll see that you’re refreshed (in LD’ing) and that everything is working better (personal experiences).
Good luck with that, and be aware of the fact that both of them methods (fight or flight) mentioned above work, one as good as the other !
