Talking to yourself about LDing & reality checks....

Hi…:smile:. Just had some expereince with the above. I have been in the habit of talking to myself I mean out loud (coping mechanism after my mother died few years ago)when nobody’s around and I notice that certain words linking to memories of people or events pop up in my dreams. It’s like I say it then I take a nap or sometimes few hours before bed and I’d dream the things I said. I even dreamt about lucid dreaming or something related to reality check after I talked about it out loud with intent because I was frustrated and needed to vent out. So maybe I may have stumbled on something that may make lucid dreams abit easier…by saying out one’s opinions and feelings about lucid dreaming and of course doing a reality check saying it and doing it instead of the usual reed of intent .

My condolences for your mother :sad: . Saying things out loud seems to be a very powerful way of getting an intention through to your SC. If you notice a link between what you say and what you dream, try to focus what you say to things about becoming lucid and remembering to do reality checks. Best of luck to you :content:
