I am a very new aspiring lucid dreamer, but when I was in bed last night, I started to repeat to myself: 1 breath Ime dreaming, 2 breath Ime dreaming etc. etc.
Everything went on fine and I felt the reality “fogging up”, my body going numb, allmost asit disapeared. It seemed really good to me, then suddenly, a lot of voices started to shout like they were right in my ear. For 3 seconds they shouted my name over and over until I opened my eyes and lightet my bed-lamp. It was really traumatic and horrific. Is this normal when thriving for lucidity?
Everything your describing sounds like HI, meaning you have no need to worry. That happens to many people during WILD; in fact, for most it is simply a part of the WILD process, and means that you’re getting closer to success. Instead of being fearful, just be proud.
are you exposed to a lot of stories and movies and games where dreaming and astral projection etc are considered “dark arts” or do you think about or see a lot of angry violent things on tv a lot?
your dreams reflect what you choose to put in your brain but its still largely just you talking to yourself, and those voices were largely just you.
what like faces in the dark jsut materializing? cause u just triggered my memory i used to get that as a child, like 5 or 6 random monsterous faces popping up out of the darkness.
I have been seeing those too when I try to WILD. I see these scary faces that I’ve seen lately and make me think if I want to go on with WILD. The important thing to remember though is to know that their are just in your mind and once you get in your LD you can make them disappear or whatever.
