I havent posted or even been to the site in weeks, but in the time i was gone i learned some useful tips for lucidity and have gone lucid about 10 times since i first heard of it. I bought Stephan Lebarges book on Exploring the world of lucid dreaming which I found very useful and highly recomend to anyone. Here is how i personnaly go lucid. Throughout the day i look at my watch and every ten minutes i ask myself how i got to where i am, and retrace my steps.
Before i go to bed I convince myself that I will dream, and remember my dreams.
when i do discover im lucid i get excited and feel the dream slipping away, so I stay focused on a certain dream item, and immagine that im grasping it with immaginary fists. the longer i “grasp” it the more clear the dream seems to get.
I dont know if this only works for me, or not. but i hope it helps.
I have that book. I dont think that I have ever done the RC by trying to trace how I got to a certain point. That might be an interesting method to try. Im just afraid that my brain will make something up that sounds logical enough to me. Its always tricking me like that!
