[color=darkblue]Anyone caring to learn Xtreme Card Manipulation or talk Card sleights has come to the right place. I absolutely love magic tricks for their clever use of misdirection and psychology to make mind boggling illusions.
Well, for newbies out there, just swear to the magician’s oath:
“As a magician I promise never to reveal the secret of any illusion to a non-magician, unless that one swears to uphold the Magician’s Oath in turn. I promise never to perform any illusion for any non-magician without first practicing the effect until I can perform it well enough to maintain the illusion of magic”.

They have a good forum and relatively good free tricks at their homepage. However, you need at least ten posts to get the good stuff in their online tutorial section.(Which I got. In a day.

After a few days of practice I was able to amaze roughly 30% of my school and make a name for myself. Magic can be used as an amazingly effective icebreaker to start a conversation with anyone really.

It is worth the effort! Trust me.
Just keep in mind that whenever you practice you should do so in front of a mirror to see it from a spectator’s point of view. Don’t neglect your misdirection or patter either!

(As for XCM I can do the Charlier Cut, Spring, and have been attempting the 180 Double Helix. But I still sort of suck.
