The Mild, Wild, and WBTB techniques.

When I first tried to have an LD I was always trying to use the differen’t techniques people have always said have worked, but I find they don’t, and the only way to have an LD for me is to think about it before I go to sleep. I have had 3 LDs in one week ever since I have stopped.

The main things in LD’ing are intention and motivation. It’s a little different (IMO) with WILD techniques, because it looks more like meditation.
Generally speaking, DILD methods (which are mainly based upon autosuggestion) work rather well. I don’t think there is such a big difference between autosuggestion method (in which you repeat a sentence before you get to sleep) or MILD (in which you imagine yourself becoming lucid, before you get to sleep) and your own method. But what is important is that you found the method which works with you.

How do you “think about LD’ing” before you go to sleep? Do you think randomly about LD’ing, or do you imagine something?
