I had a strange conversation with my friend lastnight, he told me that he practaced witchcraft, and that he has done spells. What made the conversation so strange was that it was hard to talk about, because what he was trying to explane could make him look crazy, but I knew what he was talking about. He asked me if I was a wizzard. I didnt really know what he was talking about, but part of me did. It was like talking on a unconciouss level. I guess there is a possiblty he may be a little nuts, but so am I so I cant judge him if he is. The conversation was overwhelming, and I got really excited. Its hard to explane, so Im not going to try. I done some research on the Occult, and witchcraf, and spell casting. It could be possible he was under, or attempting to cast some mind controll spell. It was kind of weird, and I cant even explane it clearly enough for you to understand it, but when I got home I prayed, because it was a little scary. We talked about the Oujia board, and other related topics. Is it possible my friend is a witch or warlock?
I hope its OK to talk about the Occult, I know alot of people may be uncomtorbale with it. Thats why I posted it in Philosophers cloud. You can allmost say anything here, and it is looked at with an open mind.
Sounds possible, I’d try and stay clear, the bible is clear witchcraft is satanic.

I actually know a witch who practices spellcraft. He’s very intelligent, and his spiritual cleanses are very soothing.
I don’t know much about crystals or spells. Maybe it is just his charisma and commanding presence…but when you walk into the room you feel something. That’s enough for me to believe in his power.
I also fail to see what witchcraft has to do with Satanism. The witches that I know (all 2 of them) only use magick for good purposes.

Witchcraft has NOTHING to do with Satanism. Pagan’s follow a completely different belief system.
I believe (though don’t quote me on this), that they believe that the Universe started with an orgasm (hence ‘Big Bang’ theory).

I think If I did study witchcraft, I couldnt devote enough time into it, It did have some cool readings about dream recall. Ive allways had natural Astral projection. Only a few times Ive done it without it being spontanious. Ive allso did some research on the Roll playing game D and D and its conection with wizzardry the Occult and witchcraft,. I just cant understand how people can take the game so far that they cant tell Reality from fantasy. Alot of teens, have killed themselfs, because they were so deep into the game. I do believe in magic, and spells. In fact I think artist are wizzards. Its like when you look at a work of art or hear a song it puts you under a spell. You could say that the pen is or could be used as a Magic wond with the powers to create a poem, story or a drawing. Mucical instruments can allso put you under a spell like when you listen to a soft tune played on a piano, it has the power to put you asleep. Thats how I think Magic, and wizzards might work. With games like D and D… It does sound evil. I think my friend might have been playing D and D. He told me that the game had evolved into a allmost subconsious level. Im just wondering what made him ask me If I was a wizzard.

Interesting. In all my years looking in to wicca & witchcraft, i don’t believe I have ever heard that term used in the more recent beliefs. While wizard is a correct term, wicca or witch is generally used for both sexes. Maybe he was just pulling your leg, too much Harry Potter
Been there done that several times, usually it is when I am most relaxed and talking about things that require thought but not really thinking about it. Everything makes sense, everything seems “yeah but I knew that” even though you may not, almost like you are connected in a way beyond normal human communication.
One thing I should mention, witchcraft is a different belief system, “satanic” is a christian term. Something IMO that is overused for anything that is “different” from Christian beliefs.
But look at it this way, if you went to a land that had never heard of Christianity, God or Jesus and told the population about the things Jesus was able to do - I can garuntee some, maybe even majority would think of him as some kind of demon to be feared. Why? Because he could do MAGIC.
Indeed. It is used for good purposes to help people, there are some people who would use it to their own selfish ends. But they would likely fall to the 3fold rule. - For those that aren’t familiar, the 3fold rules is basically - if you use magic it will come back to you 3fold. So If you do something good, some thing good will happen to you 3times or 3times greater than what you did. Or if you do something bad it will come back and be 3time worse for you.
Witchcraft is often seen in a bad way (particularly to christians - no offence intended) partly due to the past, it was feared because people didn’t understand it, but at the same time never took the time to learn the truth about it either so took it on face value that it must be bad. Hollywood hasn’t helped with its stupid films about witchcraft (that 99% of the time are not only totally inaccurate but also offensive to real witches/wiccans) - most of the time they show DEVIL WORSHIP and call it witchcraft, it really doesn’t help anything.
To me saying witchcraft is satanic is as offensive as saying all black people practice voodoo or all Colombians are drug-dealers. It’s a sterio-type that has been used for centuries - out of fear and lack of knowlege - and it’s quite hurtful to those who practice it.

I dont think Im wise to be rocking the boat as much as I do. This is what is so hard to explaine, because it has to do with the Occult, and the end of the world …so to speak. I think thats what my friend was talking about when he told me that if you try to describe it, it sounds like your crazy, and I might be. He did warn me that its not a good idea to so call rock the boat. He said there are others allso others who know about “it”. Alot of what I mean by rocking the boat are in my post, that I post on the LD forum if that makes sence. Do you think its dangerous to look at life as a game, and be fasinated in a fearless sort of way? I sometimes feel like I keep testing “it”, or am I rambaling.

I believe that Wiccan is also a religion. It’s just one that no one knows to much about and as always. What people don’t know or understand they fear, ridicule and judge.
You just have to trust yourself. It appears to me that you are interested but are not sure of what it is that appeals to you and possibly you are initimidated by it. I say that b/c you posted that you went home and prayed.
Your friend is right though. You really can’t go around telling everyone certain things. Not everyone, actually the majority of people, sees matters in the same way.
The existance of universe is magic or a coincidence.The humanity exists for no reason.Satanism is just a word and bible for me is just a couple of very good stories that if you notice pretty well has mistakes and just have to do about a person that existed some time ago.No offense for the one that believe in it.I have declared myself a no-religion man.Magic is something we don’t know.I for example have deja-vu and remember some times whole dreams like i saw that one would happen and i usually know what comes next.It could be some kind of magic but then i know i don’t like hurting others and i don’t know how to cast any kind of spells.I’m also a person that likes to experiment and so i afraid almost nothing from these.For a time i was looking solomon’s book but then i gave up cause a friend of mine said it needed faith to the first book of the bible.Whatever i don’t like to make long posts athough i did one right now.Is someone wants to talk about this i’d love but better via PM’s.
