The Strange Case of Mr. Olsen

I had a dream where I was with my french teacher and some students. My teacher pointed at me and said to the other students:“why can’t you work hard like Olsen?”

October 19, 2004

In a dream I looked at some Superman comic books and saw LD written on them. I become lucid and ask my brother about Olsen. He says:“It’s the guy who died last time.”

A Few Month Later

I’m studying Quenya(high-elvish) and I discover that Olsien means “in order to dream” or “for dreaming”.

February 7, 2005

When I was a kid I was a big fan of Superman comics and I used to buy them in arabic.

Superman had a friend called Nadim Helmi. Interestingly, Nadim is my first name and Helmi means “of dreams” or “dream related”.
I learn that Nadim Helmi’s original name in English is Jimmy Olsen.

Now either my subconscious mind is an extremely insightful plotter, or something very strange is going on here.

i still haven’t met Olsen directly, but I asked other DCs about him. So i found that Olsen is a symbol for my dreaming self. :razz: i still would like to meet him (or her :razz: ) though.

the olsen gang is a danish thing, maybe a dutch thing too. but almost every other danish male is named olsen or larsen, and they drink heavier than Icelanders, wich is a hard standard to break, especially with bad beer, ever tasted tuborg? bad shit from hell…
