Tip for begginers to not waking up from your LD

So, last saturday I had a LD, and woke up when I noticed I got lucid. I tought this was the reason for waking up, but this night I was dreaming and got lucid again. I was like “Yay, I am lucid!!!” I walked around and looked in the direction of the sun. It looked so vivid, that I could resist and blinked, and at the moment I blinked, I woke up, and after waking up I remembered that I blinked before waking up my last LD.

This may help you if you are waking up for “no reason” in your dreams. Believe, you actually doesn’t need to blink, it is just your instinct.

EDIT - Another technique people seem to not give a shi… about: every time you wake up, try to breath through your closed nose, this way when you have a FA you will instantly do this and become lucid! This is how I got my first LD today in a nap. 50 sec LD, got too excited and couldnt decide what to do. Then my dad woke me up.

EDIT - Stay still untill you get into SP state. When you are paralyzed, start “dream counting”. It is like this: One, I am dreaming… Two, I am dreaming…

When you reach around 70 you will most probably say it while dreaming and may become lucid! You can also try counting like: One, Do a reality check… Two, do a reality check…

When you fall asleep, you will most probably do a reality check or realize you are dreaming.

i did the same thing in the last lucid dream i had!! :meh: yeah but i blink regularly in my dream and i can easily remember blinking but when i woke up form it last time it felt as if i closed my eyes too long … too long to be a blink so i woke up. right as i opened my eyes and saw the wall in my room i thought nooo!! i tried to DEILD but with no sucsess…

Same here. Got really mad, because I woke up like as if I were already woke up for around 30 minutes, so there was no way to DEILD. It was going to be my first succesful LD so far

One of the best things to do seems to be rubbing your hands, but anything that keeps you active in the dream can help. DEILD can also be helped by holding on to the feeling of rubbing hands or spinning. I’ve had situations where I knew I was awake but I could still feel my hands rubbing. When I was less experienced I thought it was my RL hands rubbing together, but after a while I realized that it was just my dream hands feeling like they were real, bedsheets and all.

Yeah, I already know that, the problem is having the LD. They usually start right before me waking up. There was this dream that it lasted about 5 days inside the dreamworld but only normal stuff happened, like entering the LD4all forums and seeing a thread about the best season of the year for lucid dreaming. He said it was summer and I posted something like " Damn it! I live in Brazil so it is winter here!".

These are the only detais I remember about this five-day dream and the letters somehow didn’t change.
