I had a little bizzar expirance lastnight… I had a lucid dream, and for some reason I started thinking about work, and I couldnt remmber the last time I had been at my job. I was fully lucid, and it wasnt a false lucid dream. Has anyone ever had problems recalling waking life in a ld? I thought that the reason I couldnt recall my job was maybie I was on a long vacation or something.
Oh yea It made me think of a theory about dreams, and waking life. What if the reason why we dont realize we are dreaming is because. In the dream world it is a continous expirance leading to the afterlife. In other words when we die we never remmber dying (which is allso why we shouldnt be afraid of death) Its as if we just continue in the dream world, and we are so use to it that we never question rather we are dreaming. Im sorry I cant explain it better, but I have a real bad cold, or flue, and Im on medicine right now. Hopefully it makes a little sence.
i think your theory is right as i’ve thought that quite alot aswell, as for your dream maybe you couldn’t recall because of your cold or flu or whatever it is maybe it blocked some of your lucid abilaty. 
i don’t know i’m probably wrong as i’m just a teenager. 
In dreams your short term memory does not apply. ( I think ) 
You usually cannot remember the events that happened during the day.
But long term memories which are deep in your subconcious, you might still remember them when you think about it.
This is the reason why you don’t know any answers in the usual “Exam Dreams”
It’s also a good RC to see if you can remember what you did yesterday or the day before that.
