I want anyone/everyone who reads this posting to come up with an Idea. An idea better than life. Better than love, that includes the inner most circuitry of creatures. Think of idea better than sound, sight, or any of the senses. Think of a creation more impressive than gravity. The water cycle, no. Top that with a new invention. Create a new fuel better than blood. Forget the brain and think of some whole new organs (that work). Come up with a concept better than life a life inhabited planet. Put together 30,000 species of life, decide how it’s all going to work… and then, then tell me there’s no God.

The world wasn’t built by one human or one person, spritual or real. Not even the smartest human could achieve that. Hence why you set yourself up for faliure. All of the cycles, ecosystems, communities and processes have come from nature are so complex that they could only develop naturally. If you are trying to disprove god simply by being in awe of how the world works and how amazing and fascinating nature is, please look elsewhere. I’ve heard it all, but I’ve never, ever had someone tell me that they are 100% certain evolution did not occur and present factual evidence for it.
I believe that thieistic evolution is possible. That there is a god who guided the world through the evolutionary process. Or that there are spiritual forces of nature who helped guide the way the world is today. I believe in ghosts, and aliens, but whatever I believe in I am 100% positive that it has not been discovered yet, or he/she (god) HAS been discovered but has been so severely misinterpreted that he/she do not resemble the religions point of view at all.
Actually, wait. I’m going to take you up on your offer. What I would do is build a better eye. You may be saying “But the eye is so perfect LorDrrr, how could you possibly make something better than that?”
Actually, the eye kinda sucks. It is built upside down and backwards, requiring photons of light to travel through the cornea, lens, aquaeous fluid, blood vessels, ganglion cells, amacrine cells, horizontal cells, and bipolar cells before they reach the ligh-sensitive rods and cones that transduce the light signal into neural impulses- which are then sent to the visual cortex at the back of the brain for processing into meaningful patterns.
Now tell me: If there is a god, and he designed the world with his hands, why on earth would he create the eye upside down and backwards? Why not just make it normal to receieve vision?

Actually, our eye (or whatever) being imperfect isn’t exactly due to God or whatever you want to call him/her/it.
Think about it: God creates the Big Bang or whatever and just lets things evolve after that! Bang! The eye is not perfect because it hasn’t ended it’s evolution, and nothing else has. So it’s the same as saying “God doesn’t exist because we once were Homo erectus” or whatever. We’re all still evolving.
Right. I wasn’t proving the fact that a god doesn’t exist. I was proving the fact that “Intelligent Design” or creationism is not a theory and is not scientific. If a god does exist, then that god obviously guided the process of evolution.
Thankfully this means the holy books of all three main Abrahamic religions is false, meaing Islam, Judaism and Christianity are farce deluded religions.
I’m impressed that after well over a thousand years of debate, studying and struggle, someone has finally managed to disprove the three main religions of the world in less than 5 minutes.
True, I dont believe in any religion, but theres a God and he has formed the evolution. Take the beginning, theres has been a Big Bang, but it was not first, and the bible-theory is not true at all. The world was built by the scientific and siritual, not just one of them. If it had been that way, we could not live. And I think Gods powers sometimes spill in some humans
Excellent post. Ghostie made a good point as well. I myself am a theistic evolutionist. I believe that the theory of evolution makes so much sense that it is 99% possible it occured, but I also think it is foolish to not believe in a spiritual force of SOME sort. At bible class today (I go to a christian school even though I’m not christian and we’re forced to take bible classes) the teacher showcased a video that was pro-intelligent design and it said that it is impossible to marry god and evolution, because the two contradict each other, but that video missed the point. The point is that, like what cresun said, god is a spiritual force, not one “all and powerful being watching over us” or even a trinity of such (father, son, spirit). These spiritual forces watched over the creation of the earth to make it possible for it to occur. All the factors in physics (for instance, just the right distance from the sun, being on the right tilt, etc.) were decided by these forces that I cannot explain, but the actual process of natural selection was made by complete random chance.
Thats what I believe anyway. I find it absolutely ridiculous that there is an almighty being up in the sky watching over each and every existing person. Not to offend anyones beliefs but thats how i feel.

The funny thing is is… YES! Yes I do feel lied to. I go to a Christian school and every day I feel like this whole god thing is just complete BS. I feel like I’m surrounded by brainwashed robots. I feel like free thinking is completely out of the question and narrowmindedness takes over.
And I’m sorry I didn’t elaborate on the “Dr.” thing. Here it is in laymans terms: The eye at first saw things upside down mirrored. But thanks to the miracle of evolution and the process of natural selection organisms and species have developed new eyes, discarding the parts that didn’t work, and eventually building it up to the eye it is today, overcoming the fact that it sees the wrong way.
Just because it sees is not proof that god designed it. I hate design arguments that try to discredit evolution by saying how magical nature is and then refusing to think anywhere near the point that “this came by chance”. No, it didn’t come by complete chance, but it came together in the end.

6 days is unreasonable just to say the least… but what I consider the holy book (BIBLE) clearly reads a day to god is a thousand years to man. God doesn’t move on time c’mon we invented that too thats the BIGGEST illusion. That comparison was for our own benefit. The ideas coexist and I want to be the first die hard christian to tell you that. Hoping to shine some hope. I Know we evolve over time. I just also know I didn’t come from a rock. Its a mix really.
I understand that most christians do not believe the world was created in 6 days. But I still find 6 1,000 year intervals to be extremely untrue. Creation didn’t just happen at once even if 1,000 years is counted as that. It was never creation- it was evolution. It always was and always will be.
I’m still trying to understand the extent of your beliefs in a god and in evolution. Are you a monotheistic evolutionsit? Is that what you are saying? I don’t get your stance here.

But take parts of the ideas, voila, we have the sollution, maybe the sollution has a connection with 42 (who knows). And yes, God is spiritual forces, not a creature, if God is mad at you, it never appears a creature in the bedroom his (the spiritsfields) anger shows by disasters.
well i can say that the doctors told my mom she coudlnt have any babies because her tubes were messed up she prayed to god(she is christian btw) and when she went back to see if she could have a baby again the doctors said omg you have totally new tubes.
