sometimes when i’m in a dream, i remember to do a RC but after doing so it still does not occur to me that i’m dreaming. For example, i do the plugging nose RC buts ometimes i really can’t breathe. Also, i might try to stick my hold through a wall, but that wall would be solid. I remember that while being in a dream I ask myself and others whether or not i’m dreaming, but after a short while i either forget, or I make myself believe it’s not because i can’t find enough evidence.
Why does this happen and what can i do to achieve better lucidty? thanks!
Try a different reality check like, check what you are wearing. Are they really your clothes? Or you could ask yourself what have I been doing today? Trace the day back untill you woke up in the morning, and if you can’t do so then you must be dreaming.
Well. I use a telekentic Reality check. Since when I was a child, I used to dream alot about having telekentic powers. I remember controlling glass with my mind and smashing it against walls. I know what it feels like so I can use that if I doubt my reality.
Try using power RC, Just think to your self. “This is a dream! I can do what I want, I can levitate this book!!” then try in real life, do it a few times. And eventually that sense of mind will go into your dream, then eventually the book will probably rise.
Try text! Text is unstable, it doesn’t require an amount of belief in order to work. I read that if you look twice it will change 85% och the time, and if you look thrice, 95% of the time. This probably varies from person to person, but it’s not the only test you can do with text, stare at it and it changes before your eyes. And sometimes it just says some jibberish or looks russian or something. Or it can be in the wrong context. The problem is that it’s not always avaliable.
