When I was younger, I foresaw many events through dreams e.g. an old friend I’d lost contact with moving back into town. I haven’t had any of these types of dreams in years and would like to get them back. I just found an article on keeping a dream journal. The author mentions many benefits including making dreams more lucid. It sounds like a great start. Does anyone keep a dream journal?
It seems so odd to me that on LD4all of all places, someone would ask this question! Loads of people across this forum keep dream journals, just check out the Dream Diary section. Me thinks DJ keeping gets competitive around here—at least it did back when I kept a dream journal. It’s been months since I’ve written any dreams down, although my dreams are just as amazing as ever. I would still like to reinforce the idea that keeping a dream journal can inprove recall, lucidity, and even the overall experience more than anything else.
I might want to get back into it now that you mention it.
SophieW – The article on journaling dreams has got me totally psyched! I’m new to this site too. Although I’ve never been fortunate enough to have prophetic dreams, I do remember all kinds of great lucid dreams when I was much younger and would like to get them back. I’m starting my journal in the morning.
A dream journal is a great start! Helps dream recall so that you can remember your dreams, makes your dreams more clear( I believe), and allows you to see reoccuring dream signs so it is easier to get lucid.
hope I didnt repeat anything that was in the article(didnt read it yet)
And Welcome to the forums Sophie, Mayzie, and Liz!
