Hello, I decided to start this thread because I’ve noticed some people have problems with visualsing stuff, eg for VILD and some WILD methods.
Well this thread is for tips on visualising! I am pretty good at visualising stuff, maybe because I read quite a bit and write fiction, which excercises my imagination. Here is my tip, everybody else pour in your tips to make this one awesome, one-stop visualising guide!
TIP:
Practice - everything comes with practice, art, music, writing, creativity skills, they all come with practice. I am doing VILD at the moment, and I visualise my dream situation randomly throughout the day. A couple of days ago the visualisations were coloured mainly red, green and black - but now, 2 days later, the situation is full of colour, and voices can be heard clearer, objects are more solid and textured. Make no mistake - despite the title, visualising is not only about the visuals - remember to concentrate on all of your senses, smell, touch, see, hear… it’s all very important in getting better results. Practice the same visualisation, by the way.
TIP:
When you have your eyes closed, try not to focus, physically with your eyes, on the visualisation, as you will be really focusing on the inner part of your eyelids - and it hurts, believe me.
