Visualization

No not see through their eyelids but see things when they have their eyes closed like HI. Except inducing it at will.

I’ve been working on visualization a lot lately. I’m not there yet, but it can get pretty advanced. Starting off, you want to visualize something small and simple like a red circle. Then something more complex, then something imaginary like a vegetable from Jupiter. After you’ve mastered those stages, repeat the same process with your eyes open. I know a guy who can do that. He can choose what he wants to see, or not see, with his eyes open. We probably all do this to some extent unconciously, but conscious control would be interesting. I’m still working on the eyes closed stuff, but eyes open is the goal.

The mind can do amazing things.

I can imagine things with my eyes open but I don’t actually see them appear in front of me I see them in my mind.

Well, I worked on using my periphrial vision, u know the un focussed kind. And after a while I could close my eyes after looking into a room, and still see the image as though my eyes were open. Now to get laughs, I do so and have someone rearrange the room without me looking, then I open my eyes and tell them what they did. I think focused vision is entirely your consciousness while periphrial is your subconscious, and thus tied right into your memory. Its just a matter of finding the picture in your head.
