# Wake up with no recall?

Why sometimes when i wake up in the morning i cant remember anything at all about my dreams, nothing not even a fragment no matter how hard i tried today i woke up with nothing ut yet 90 percent of the time i remember.

you can have setbacks, but if you really try you can remember a word, just look around, read a paper and poof, it launches a memory and you go " oh yeah it was like that" :cool_laugh::cool_laugh:

Yeah, I get that a lot too, but then again I’m pretty stressed out IRL and have a hectic schedule and not a lot of time to sit and recall my dreams when I awaken. I find that I have more recall when I wake up in the middle of the night than I do in the morning. Don’t worry, the last time I posted a similar concern in the forum after having zero recall for a week straight, I recalled two dreams that very night. 😄

I’ve been at this since 05-Dec-04 and still can’t remember a dream each and every night and have only had one short LD in almost three months’ time. Patience is a good thing, I think.
