I couldnt find this anywhere on the forums so here it is:
I work for the SBCo Fire Department, I work 24 hour shifts, and I have to wake up at unplaned times during the night for calls when I am working. Our tones arent much louder than an alarm clock. so my question is should I try to LD while I am sleeping at work? do you think I will still be able to easily wake up for calls?
Yes, because when we are in REM sleep so when we do most of the dreaming our brain waves are similar to waking state brain waves. That means our brain is very active and we can awake very easily.
okay, thanks
I just wanted to make sure before I tried it at work because if I sleep through a call I could lose my job, I like the idea of LDing at work but not that much.
Also I think that running a medical aid in the middle of the night would be the perfect WBTB, wake up at a random time with an adrenaline rush, be active for 30 minutes to an hour, and then go back to bed. If i think about LD related stuff while im on the call i think that would be perfect. I cant wait to try it.
thanks again,
