Was I lucid?

I was first introduced to Lucid Dreaming by my Mom, She knows I like to research things in my free time so I thought, okay why not, it sounds interesting. This was about 4 months ago.

Now, During those 4 months, I’ve had a couple of Lucid Dreams here and there. It really seems amazing to just be able to “Control your own world”.

So just yesterday I was dreaming, I had focused my mind on having a Lucid dream, and it sort of worked. In the dream I was driving home from some random job that I had, I was in a business suit so I guess I was some sort of CEO (I was in a nice car  )

Anyway, I had heard on the radio in the car that a tornado was supposed to hit the house that I was going to. Once I got in the house the sky was dark and cloudy, there was thunder storms and it was raining. I saw the tornado going towards my neighbors house and I thought “I have the power to stop this! This is just a dream!!” I sort of imagined the tornado to go away, and it disappeared before it hit the house. Then I was like, I think I’m having a lucid dream. I imagined the sky was brighter and sunnier, and it turned to just that. Then I was feeling evil and I used some sort of telekinetic power on the house, and just blew it away as if some sort of wind was pushing on it. Then my Dad walked in the house and asked “Did you just have a lucid dream?” I said yes and we went talking about dreams, I think it was there I lost my lucidity then I woke up.

Sorry for all that text. But I was wondering if that was a lucid dream. Also, I could use some pointers on how to stay lucid if anyone is willing.

yes i believe any dream you realize that you are dreaming is considered a lucid dream even if you dont control what happens.

Congrats Beefree,
I believe you had a lucid dream. :content:

yea congrats
i think i had a lucid dream last night too

What do you mean ‘‘you believe’’ he had a lucid dream? He did.

When you realize you’re dreaming, you go lucid. Congratulations.

I really don’t see how you could DENY that to be an LD… Great job, loads of people shall envy you for that, especially newcomers. Give yourself a pat on the back… not literally 'cause that kind of looks weird.
