Last night was an INSANE night of dreaming for me. It snowed last night and we lost power for about 18 hours… so I decided to go to sleep.
It was also my first night in an actual bed, and a new room.
I went to bed at 10:30, I awoke at 10:00AM.
I had SEVEN dreams!!
One was particularly weird. I didn’t know wether to count it as 1 LD or 3 LD’s, I counted it as one… but if we count them all together then then it would be 9 dreams last night… lol.
It was a normal dream, and I became lucid… something occured that usually happened when I was a newb… the dream faded away after becoming lucid. So, I’m laying in my bed and I open my eyes… nothing different, I go to log the dream and I did a reality check… BAM, it is a dream. Instead of logging the dream I break through the wall like Superman and just fly around… I love flying for some damn reason.
Well, I was going really fast, I figured I’d test Einstein’s Theory of Relativity… LOL!! So, there I am in a race with light but I was losing terribly… I won’t get into details but I think I proved the theory… I awoke. I’m lying in my bed awake, I go to log the dream.
I didn’t think about doing a reality check. I reach for my Dream Journal and what I saw next nearly scared the **** out of me. There is my twin brother(fraternal) standing in the corner of my room looking at me smiling. Now, I knew right away I was dreaming becasue I live alone in Canada and my brother lives in Florida. I’m not going to explain the dream, but it was crazy.
Awesome!!
I always count things like that as one lucid dream, and call the different scenes ‘dream scenes’, but that’s be, and I’m weird
Anyways, I’ve had a similar experience, with false awakeings before, and I became lucid about 3 or 4 times!! It was weird! And once was one like your brother, only I awoke to see my roomate in my room, sitting, watching me sleep, that FREAKED me out, but then I realised it was a FA, so i floated around
I think I’m going to try to RC everytime I wake up, so I dont miss out on any LD’s during FA’s (I have before!!)
Anyways, that sounds like a fun night of dreaming Garlic!
I lied, it wasn’t my FIRST time in a bed, it was my first time in a bed since May 24th… I did sleep in a real bed when I slept with my g/f… but I didn’t count that.
I was sleeping on a pull out couch, the bar was always in my back. Now I’m in a bed, hehe.
