What a kind of technique is that? ;s

Ok, first of all sorry for my English mistakes!
Hello everyone, I just want to share with you and ask a question about what I did to get LD. I’m a lucky natural lucid dreamer, and I have one LD like every month, but I thought to my self “is there any way to get LD whenever I want?”. At the first day when I got interest in it I didn’t read much about it, I had just read that it is possible to control it and some advices but not any techniques. When I went to sleep that night, I was just thinking about what I want to be dreaming and I didn’t let any other thoughts come to my mind. I’ve kept doing that but after 3 hours nothing happenned , I wanted to give up but I didn’t. I was thinking to my self “oh come on, start dreaming!!” I know it sounds stupid but like 15 minutes later I fall asleep, when I got REM station I was instantly aware that I’m dreaming and I thought “finally!, I’m dreaming!!!” I do not have any idea at all how did I do that? I thought that is weak and I’ll find some techniques to get better result, and I used WILD and MILD but after week I didn’t get any LD. How come that with no any special technique I got instant LD at the first time of try? Is there any way to improve it?

I’ll try it again this night, to see what the result will be like.

First of all welcome

One very important part in getting lucid is your intention and emotions. I think you might get better results with some practice with the techniques. You might also want to try to focus before bed, just like you did in the first example, on what you want to do in the LD. Try to feel happy and confident! Try to feel as if there is no doubt you will get lucid.

This helps me at least  but in general it might just be a matter of practice with the techniques. Good luck!

First of all, :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: to the forum

now to your question, yes that method is called WILD, as you fell asleep consciously and got into a dream and realized you were dreaming. A good way to improve is to wake up in the middle of the night when you are more likely to get a REM stage and try WILD then. It’s called a WBTB. Also, when WILDing, try to stay really calm and keep your thought level down;you fall asleep and get into a dream faster. Hope that helped. Also, look in the knowledge base, there are lots of helpful articles there.

sorry I forgot to say hello, my bad
This night was weird, when I went to sleep I thought “maybe I don’t need any tehniques, maybe I just need to believe in my self?” after few minutes I fell asleep and I woke up at 4.00 a.m and I was disappointed, so I tried DEILD, and here is the weird situtation. I started dreaming but I was still thinking THAT IS JUST MY IMAGINATION and I’m not dreaming yet :woo: and after like 30 minutes of dreaming I said “how come I didn’t get LD last night? I was so close” and then “wait…am I dreaming now???” but unlucky for me I woke up cause REM was finished :content: strange isn’t it?
is there anyone who can have LD every single night?
I just want to now if it is possible :content:
did anyone try FILD? cause it seems to be easy

There might be 15-20, maybe more, people on this forum who LD every night. There was Pedro, then Lucidity-Master, Writerscube, Grand Speculator that I know of.
And FILD indeed works wonders for some, you can try it out

I only knew about Writerscube. I haven’t spent that much time in the DJ section. All his dreams are lucid, btw :bored: so it’s more than possible.

And LucidDreamer29, I’ve seen that happen many times lol don’t worry, you’re getting close!
