two nights ago I had the most extreme weird dream.
I drempt my friend and I slept over my house, etc.
In the dream she had a polka-dot shirt on.
At school she had the same shirt on! 
thats called a coincidence.
maybe your subconsience realized that your friend was going to use that shirt, it isnt realy a paranormal kind of thing, is just that the subconsience is sometimes smarter than the consience. or maybe your friend uses that shirt way too much 
I could see it either way (that it was coincidence or that it was seeing the future). I know it wouldn’t be the first time for me if it was the future one.
While I’m on the topic, just the other night I had a dream where I saw a possible new family member of mine (either a nephew or a son in the future) and I remember the name we called him too. And it definitely was one of the two like I said (nephew or brother) because he had our family look. I won’t reveal this tale to any of my family members because then it could altar what might happen and I’d rather sit it out and see if it was just a random dream or foresight.
And just to rule out the chance that it might be a future son of mine, I’ll remember the name and not mention it to whoever I marry. I’ll let her list some names she likes.
my aunt claims to have dreams like you describe. except about peoples deaths. I have no evidence to support her claim, though she called my grandmothers death to the month.
