What Was going on here??

[b]Well one night i was laying in bed listening to some Frequencies to help keep my mind from wandering. also before bed i do some stretches so I’m not sore and take about 10 deep breaths then lay down and relax and clear my mind.

I was trying to dream about something specific like i usually do once I’m feeling tired
I forget what exactly it was but i remember vividly seeing a guy just his top half shoulder and head and he turned his head and put his hand to his ear like( Speak up) type of gesture so i said in my mind, show me what I’m asking for, and he disappeared as my mind was like WTF was that.

Since then almost every night i will see a flash of an image or something i can’t remember any examples but that one but i know it happens its not like I’m trying to make out anything with my eyes closed they just appear so its not my imagination creating what i want to see its the subconscious or something else i don’t know

Anyone have any ideas of what it is or where I’m at with LD, or what i should/shouldnt do?>?

Well, do you remember your dreams? Also what technique are you using?

It could be intense HI. HI usually evolves from flashing lights and images to pictures/people. Maybe it’s your mindset/level of sleep deprivation before you try this, being really tired before attempting an OBE could progress the HI really far pretty quickly, depending on how well you relax. However, because of the frequencies, your mind was probably jumpstarted, listening to frequencies helps some people progress their HI further, and it allows them to enter a dream more easily.

I wouldn’t be worried about it, but next time when you see something like this, try and relax as much as possible, and focus on the image in your mind, almost like the image is sucking you into the dream. Maybe they’ll pull you into the phase :content:

Ill add some more info to this sorry, Ive had lucid dreams before, a handful of times i could do it on demand. in the last 3 months i haven’t tried it much and pretty much lost it so for the last 15 days I’ve been trying again with no luck I’ve tried WBTB with no luck, and a few other things.

Now the closest thing to a LD i can get are these flashes they are so vivid but its weird this is how it happens, i take 3-6 MG of melatonin(Helps sleep and other things)

Well with this stuff ya 3-6 mg seems like little amount however, i lay down 5 mins after taking them, turn on my sounds binaural beats or anything really. close my eyes do some breathing excerscizes deep breaths holding inhale for 2-3 seconds then out slowly. by the time I’ve done 10-15 I’m tired as hell…(This takes like maybe 3-5 mins)
usually from the time i take the melatonin to the time i can last remember is about 15-20 mins until i fall asleep.

after I’m done that i just focus on the sounds within I’m gonna say 30 seconds I’m half asleep but Still very awear of where i am and “Real life” if thats what you wanna call it. this is when i see the flashes sometimes ill open my eyes and relax try again but sometimes ill just keep trying to focus on the sounds and stuff…

just about every night i do these steps i can Recall 2,3 even a few times 4 dreams within that night, none of which i remember being lucid. They are all usually very odd and something that wouldn’t normally happen IRL so i should be able to get the clue and know I’m dreaming but it just doesn’t happen.
