What was that? ;O

Hey, alright.
I’m going to make this pretty simple.
I went to sleep tonight (or I could say yesterday at 11pm).
I didn’t see nothing in my dreams or anything, but suddenly I popped up in a forest of some kind. I’m not talking about details now, but I have them in my DJ.
I found a house in the forest, it was kind of a lab or something.
It had many shelves and cabinets - all full of stuff.

I remember taking a stapler from one of the shelves, and it felt kind of real in my hands.

Anyway, I took a look at my DREAM iPod Touch (yes, I saw an iPod in my dreams).
It said: “Do an LD!”. And I kind of misunderstood that, and I knew it actually meant, “Do an RC!”. So I did an RC in my dream (well I tried to), but I wasn’t concentrating on it or asking myself, “Am I dreaming?”.
The RC was flipping a light-switch (the house had a lamp… it was turned on, in the middle of the forest :eh: ). The first time I just flipped it and well nothing happened. I was confused. I looked at my iPod again, it said: “Did you do an LD?”. Ofcourse I misunderstood that again, and did an RC. But now I concentrated. I asked my self the question, and looked at the lamp. I flipped the light-switch.

The lamp went off, BUT
The light was still around the lamp, and the light was still on the ground (basically, the room was light, but the lamp was dark). So I thought like: “??? What the hell ???”. And I realized in that dream, that I am dreaming. Everything felt so real, my heart started pummeling, my hands started to sweat, I got goosebumps and everything was so cold. Then I started to melt into the ground. And then,
I woke up
I realized it was a dream, but it didn’t CLICK to me like: “I’M DREAMING!!”

Was this a lucid dream? Could anyone explain, please?

Thank you!

Sounds like it was a low lucid. You realized you were dreaming but didn’t completely realize what that means. Still a good result! Next time you’ll probably make the full connectio

Thanks for the reply Mattias. Also I have another question/thing on my mind. Is lucid dream vision supposed to be like in real life? Full colors, stuff feels real etc. In that dream everything was kind of dark and black as in ND’s.
Thanks!

Yes, once i achieved such great lucidness like everything was as realistic as possible. It was night and i felt that air was cool.I was in a park and i could feel the smell of cut grass.I Grabbed my arm and i could feel 5 fingers griping it and and beaming warmth. Vision was like superhigh resolution. I have tried many times, but never achieved such lucidy, but it’s really worth to try to achieve.

What’s weird is that - I was kind of afraid and scared. I know it’s a dream and nothing bad can happen, but I was scared of that when I found out I was dreaming, and immediately started melting into the ground.

You see, it only happened because of that.
That’s how dreams work.

If you expect something bad to happen, something bad will happen.
The same things works for HH.

If you are terribly afraid of it, you will see something scary, like a monster or a witch.
Those who don’t fear HH don’t see anything disturbing at all, since it is all a trip through our mind’s creations.

Try to relax and be sure that you won’t be harmed.
It shouldn’t take long since it is true: you cannot be harmed!

I can fly and do cool things only because I know that I am able to do it.
Just look at your sig

Thanks for the reply! You motivated me ;D! Thank you, thank you!
And now the sentence which will burn into my mind and last forever:
“I will not freak out, or think of scary things, when I see a lucid dream.”
Cheers! And good luck to all of us dreamers!

I know this is bumping a dead topic but also in a dream your feelings are amplified very much so that might of also been why.

Thanks for the reply, rcslaney!
I’ll keep that in mind…

That was some really big missed DS there  Don’t take it that way. Call it “progress”

Haha, thanks!
That was my first LD, and I haven’t gotten one since that (or I just didn’t remember)
