I’m new. I never had a lucid dream yet. Can someone please tell me how much time it took you before you had a lucid dream?
for me a few days after I first heared about it …
but that was more than a year ago.
I didn’t have that many LDs since then …
I had my first LD before I knew about Lucid Dreaming. Then I had my next LD one or two weeks later a few days after I found out what it was. I had many LDs in the first month but then they got fewer. 
Don’t get discouraged if you don’t have one that fast, there are lots of users here that waited much longer for their first LD.
I have been trying for a month.From what I see it varies from person to person. Just don’t give up.
a year and i STILL don’t have one, but it seems this is where my luck comes from, so don’t bother yourself with MY lack of LDs.
It took me about three weeks, and it didn’t even last long - you really shouldn’t worry or lose confidence in yourself. 
3 days after getting interest in it. Then another one like 3 days later and then nothing for 3+ months 
I got one the same day as when I became interested in LDing (I’d heard about LDing before, just didn’t realize how valuable it can be at that time). Then I had them about once every week, and now they’re down to 1 or 2 a month.
It seems to vary a lot from person to person.
About 3-4 months.
I’ve had a few since then so my regularity has increased.
